Excellent new role for an experienced Operations Manager to join our busy operational centre in Galway.
This role will be involve leading several service teams to achieve business targets and deliver the defined customer/intermediary propositions. You will spend most of your time developing and implementing operational plans and guiding your teams, providing clear direction and developing your team leader’s professional capabilities.

You will be based on site in the Galway Operations Centre working face to face with your team leaders daily and spending considerable time with the Operations Centre Lead and other managers. You will have experience of developing business plans and have good leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximizing sales, service performance & operational productivity through managing the delivery of high quality, omni channel-based sales and servicing.
  • Leading & actively supporting several team leaders and their teams in the delivery of high levels of customer/intermediary service; developing operational plans, agreeing targets with team leaders and acting to address performance issues.
  • Working closely with team leaders to establish the capability and credibility they need to deliver high levels of sales and service performance while also supporting each team member’s wider personal and professional development.
  • Leading & motivate the team to fully exploit their capabilities and build on the culture of high performance in the Galway Operation.
  • Managing the team to ensure that resources such as (people, finances, information, technology, etc.), processes and control frameworks.
  • Working closely with other service leaders to effectively implement change to deliver agreed business benefits.
  • Instrumental in improving Employee Experience to drive an engaged and high preforming culture within the site
  • Supporting and encouraging the identification and implementation of appropriate new and/or better ways of doing things to improve service and/or efficiency.
  • Recruiting, managing, coaching, developing and motivating the team/department/unit to ensure delivery of the required standards of performance now and in the future.
  • Quality of client/intermediary relationships and associated feedback/satisfaction scores

Requirements:

  • 5 Years experiences within operations in call centre or similar environments
  • Previous experiences working in Financial Services in advantage
  • Strong people managements experiences
  • Ability to provide reports & compile statistical business information where required
  • To implement business/action plan initiatives.
  • Identify & maximize opportunities for the effective operation of the Galway Operations Centre.

  • Comply with the requirements of the Consumer Protection Code and the Data Protection Code.
  • This role is subject to the Fitness and Probity Standards (“The Standards”), issued under Section 50 of the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 and any subsequent amendments. The role holder must ensure they are fully aware of the Standards and in a position to fully comply with them always.
