People & Culture Business Partner 9‑Month Fixed Term Contract
We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team on a 9‑month fixed term contract. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will play an integral role in shaping and delivering impactful HR solutions that support our business strategy.

This role partners closely with People Leaders across Dublin, Galway and Belfast and supports the delivery of the Intact Insurance Ireland Strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, providing expert guidance while fostering a culture of high performance, engagement and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic people priorities to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide input into the People Strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and customer group requirements.
  • Build strong, effective relationships with assigned business areas to ensure People & Culture initiatives are integrated and relevant.

People Advisory & Leadership Support

  • Offer best‑practice advice and guidance on a range of people matters.
  • Coach and support leaders to strengthen capability and ensure effective people management.
  • Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance, including coaching, career development and employee relations support.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.

Project Delivery & Change Management

  • Lead or support People & Culture projects and initiatives to enable delivery of business and HR priorities.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Support change initiatives and contribute to positive employee engagement strategies.
  • Source and coordinate internal and external expertise to meet specific people needs.

 

Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in HR or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a business partnering capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering effective people projects and HR initiatives.
  • Strong background in employee engagement, change management and ER/IR support.

  • A strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships and positively influence stakeholders.
  • Resilient, solutions‑focused and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A team‑oriented mindset with a proactive and motivated “can‑do” attitude.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the confidence to make informed decisions.

Other

  • Role is Dublin‑based with hybrid working.
  • Flexibility to travel to Galway and Belfast as required.
