IT Service Transition Analyst

Be part of a growing dynamic Technology team in RSA/123.ie where your innovation and creativity can be fostered. This key role is within our Service Integration team who work across business functions and provide them with excellent customer and technical services within an ITIL framework and agile methodology.  The role will involve you working alongside our Service and Change teams to ensure the smooth transition of new and upgraded services are documented to ensure regulatory compliance and good governance. You will manage and undertake, the activities associated with the processes under your control.  You will work closely with your colleagues in the Change Delivery teams ensure processes are contributing to the achievement of agreed service levels.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Development and implementation service transition plans including agreed Service Support Models ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers, service owners, and other stakeholders to define service requirements and transition processes.
  • Support managing the smooth transition of new or changed services, including planning, and risk assessment
  • Support any need for training and knowledge transfer for support teams and end-users with the Change Delivery team.
  • Monitor and report on transition activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Identify and support mitigation of risks associated with service transitions.
  • Engage on post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future transition processes.
  • Continuously improve the service transition process by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
  • Support communications on changes to the organisation in a timely manner

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer focus

Requirements:

  • 3 years plus experience in IT Service Management or IT Operational team with good understand of support model structure
  • Experience with project management methodologies i.e. Agile, waterfall
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Familiar with service management tools (Service Now, Jira)
  • Certification in ITIL foundation Level 3 or 4 and Prince2 are preferred.
