Finance Business Partner - 11 Month Fixed Term Contract
This role as Finance Business Partner will involve working as part of the Finance team. You will spend your time collecting, analysing, interpreting and reporting on information, predominantly but not exclusively of a financial nature. You will add value through your ability to deliver robust & accurate monthly analysis to the IT department on business spend and forecasts. You may lead or work as part of a team and will play a key role in the delivery the IT operational plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of ITS operational plan and capital expenditure. Working closely with cost centre owners to maintain their budgets.
- Quarterly forecasting on IT operational spend.
- Variance analysis and commentary on monthly spend.
- Depreciation modelling and reconciliation of project planned and actual spend. Reconciliation of inflight projects against planned spend.
- Validation of costs and tracking of spend across multiple projects and cost centres.
- Reconciliation of fixed asset register.
- Project capitalisation monitoring additions, validation of spend and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconciliation of expenses in SAP general ledger.
- Calculation and reconciliation of prepayments and accruals for IT spend.
- Management of Intercompany recharges. Working closely with group entities raising cost transfers and tracking settlements.
- Vendor management. Escalation points for vendor queries and management of contractual agreements with large vendors.
- Invoice payment for suppliers.
- Support change management team in forecasting and cost management.
- Communication and stakeholder management is key to this role.
Requirements:
- Part qualified accountant ACCA with 2- 3 years experiences
- Role based in Dundrum.
- Previous experience cost management and planning required.
