Senior Service Desk Engineer
Exciting new role for Senior Service Desk Engineer to join our highly skilled and experienced IT team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer focused service that is of the highest standards.
- Support the development team with bug investigation in test environments and production.
- Be accountable for tickets entering the Level 2 service desk and bring them to resolution.
- Own the communication process between the development team and the agents.
- Work to deliver SLAs.
- Incident classification and resolution.
- Escalating issues to management as appropriate.
- Log monitoring and Analysis to find yet unknown issues.
- Adhoc SQL reporting for both IT and wider business functions.
- DB Script Deployments.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant third level degree and minimum 3 years industry experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills based.
- Using support tools to manage and track tickets and customer incidents and requests.
- Experience dealing with senior technical and management stakeholders in a corporate environment.
- Strong SQL Skills.
- Knowledge of Azure log analytics and application insights.
- Ability to create reports from sql on an Adhoc basis.
- Strong Code Investigation Skills (Java, .Net, Angular JS and Angular)
- Knowledge of Database maintenance a benefit.
