Training Specialist – Open to internal candidates only

We are looking for a Training Specialist to join our Learning and Development team. RSA and 123.ie has had an excellent reputation for providing outstanding customer experience, and our focus on Training plays an important part in this.

The Training Specialist will ensure that this focus remains high, and that processes and standards are adhered to across teams.

This role is a hybrid role and is ideal for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in training that will give the successful candidate experience to all forms of Learning and Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training others on our Company Processes and Standards.
  • Creating interactive, blended Training Plans and Training Material for new and existing agents as required.
  • Provide constructive feedback to new hires when applicable.
  • Delivering training to new staff joining RSA and 123.ie.  Training will include modules such as Introduction to Insurance, Introduction to RSA & 123.ie and some Product, Systems and Skills Training.  This will include assessing trainee’s knowledge and ability and reporting back to management.
  • Working with Tech Specialist & SME’s across RSA and 123.ie to create and facilitate training on system and product updates as required.
  • Ensuring that all admin related to Training is completed and updated as required.
  • Driving continuous improvement in our interactions with customers.
  • Analyse training trends to the leadership team, providing recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Supporting company initiatives such as future fit academies and capability build objectives.
  • Attend Call quality calibration sessions ran by the quality team to identify training needs.
  • Manage and maintain training aids including the 123.ie hub and scripting.
  • Using initiative to identify areas of improvement.
  • Deliver training alongside the wider Learning and Development team in other business locations (Galway and Belfast).

 Requirements:

  • APA Qualification and minimum 1 years’ experience post qualification
  • A strong performance record in a Customer Experience role.
  • Self-motivation and an ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Previous experience training or coaching desired.
  • A passion for Customer Experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A passion for creating content and learning new technologies.
  • Adaptable to changes in training curriculum.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a structured way.
  • Team Player.
