Great Career Opportunity for Partership Development Manager to joing our growing Sales team. This role as Partership Development Manager to translate opportunities and leads across various customer segments, including Banking , Telco, Retail and emerging distribution channels for general insurance products.  You will establish the Partnership proposition, pipeline governance and capability within RSA. You’ll engage with leaders in our sales, underwriting, operations, and finance teams, as well as our business partners, and prospective partners to articulate our story and the value we offer to our customers. You will develop and ensure the successful delivery of a partner pipeline for our partnership channel (Affinity & Direct).

Key Responsiblies:

  • Developing partnership pipeline to support profitable growth profitable through both partners and direct channels
  • Agree the appropriate governance for managing the pipeline successfully.
  • Proactively develop customer presentation materials and a strong business network.
  • Develop our key partnership propositions that will match potential leads needs.
  • Create annual contact strategy to support pipeline activity.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing and new business partners and establish “Deal making ” as a core RSA capability
  • Develop insights into competitor pipelines and existing partners as well as customer and market trends
  • Work with the UK / Group based Partnership teams to leverage their assets and adapt them to the Irish business
  • Maintain robust governance processes to monitor impact of pipeline and refine based on learnings and feedback.
  • Work with colleagues in marketing, sales, operations, claims and underwriting to maximise effectiveness of partnership deals.
     

Requirments:

  • 2-3 year`s experinces in a B2B sales role
  • Proven business development skills
  • Experience in managing sales pipelines
  • Experience in making customer presentations/bids
  • Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel to an expert level
  • APA qualification or working towards this
  • If you have experience of the insurance sector, this is highly desirable, although not essential as we believe good sales skills
  • This position will include travel, therefore applicants should hold a full clean and valid driver’s licence.
