Here at RSA Insurance we are currently looking to hire an experienced Reward & Compensations Specialist to join our People Success Team. From a HR Reward & Compensations perspective, you will enjoy using your technical skills and experience to undertake complex analysis of compensation data. We are offering flexible working arrangements & dynamic culture.

You will use this output to support key reward activities including annual salary review, annual bonus calculations, compensation benchmarking, pay trends and market data analysis and ad hoc reward projects. You will also enjoy managing queries and providing support and guidance on a range of reward topics to internal and external stakeholders.

You will manage all annual reward cycle activity across our Irish business and design solutions to meet both business and legislative requirements (e.g. Gender Pay legislation). Using your analytical capability, you will ensure reward best practice, legal compliance and our ability to respond to changing business needs. To deliver this, you will interact with our Senior Leadership Team, including C-Suite and deliver reward recommendations to our Board of Directors.

In relation to People Data, this exciting role will also involve using your analytical skills to deliver a suite of reward and key people reports to our business leaders and wider RSA Group stakeholders. Producing these reports will require collation, analysis and reporting of people data in an easy and understandable way.

Key Responsibilities Reward & Compensations:

  • Be our HR Reward & Compensation expert, guiding and supporting team mates and business leaders on reward activities
  • Lead annual reward cycle activities, such as annual salary review and bonus scheme, including involvement in local negotiations
  • Complete salary survey data submissions, analysing survey results and working with survey providers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage reward benchmarking for our business, undertaking analysis of internal and external data to assess market competitiveness
  • Chair our Resource Management Committee, overseeing the Terms of Reference, ensuring they are current and relevant to our business and regulatory/compliance framework
  • Undertake quarterly gender pay gap reporting, proposing solutions and actions for our business to take
  • Assist with benefit review activities and the proposal of changes in keeping with the overall RSA Group benefits approach
  • Pro-actively coach our business about our reward philosophy
  • Identify and maintain a suite of reporting requirements to support the governance and control environment in relation to Reward and Policy, including ad hoc MI reg, to play an integral role in relation to Operational Planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Conduct specific market research and analysis to inform the business of best practice and make changes to existing policies and practices and reward trends

 
People Data:

  • Use your analytical skills to produce reports and provide insights on key people data and metrics to our key stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee best practice data management

Requirements:

  • HR Reward experience, ideally experience with Reward & Compensations Frameworks
  • Strong track record producing meaningful and accurate MI
  • Excellence in Microsoft products, particularly expert level Excel
  • Strong communications skills, including ability to frame and write Reward proposals and commentary
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing ability, including with senior leaders
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work together and independently
  • Ability to priorities, plan and deliver own workload with pride
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt and deliver
